The Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (Construction) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals working, or aspiring to work, as construction site managers within building and civil engineering. It demonstrates competence in managing complex projects, leading teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity on site.
By completing this qualification, learners provide evidence of their professional skills and knowledge, helping them progress in their career and gain recognition within the industry. Successful achievement also enables candidates to apply for the Black CSCS Manager’s Card, the highest level of CSCS card available, which confirms their status as a fully qualified construction site manager.

The twenty units that all learners must complete to gain this qualification are:

Suitable applicants for this programme must meet the following requirements:
- This programme is suitable for learners of 21 years of age and above.
- Learners must be in a voluntary or paid role within the sector.
- Learners must be able to demonstrate Maths and English at level 2
- Learners must have access to a qualified observer. This is someone who holds this qualification or an equivalent or higher.
